"What's it look like in there?" Tom asked.
"Like the perfect accident," I replied.
"Good," he said, looking back at the door I had left slightly open.
"Start the car and let's get out of here."
'Alright,' Tom replied, kissing me lightly on the lips.
We were bad, we were killers, but our crimes only made us fall deeper in love.
We might get caught one day, but for now I was happy being on the run with him.
Imagine A NightWhere the moonlight dances upon the groundImagine A Night by dogsandbooks
And takes you to a place where dreams abound.
And the trees gracefully wrap you in leaves
To protect you from the night's cool breeze.
Where the man in the moon does a happy jig,
And feeds you a great feast of pheasant and pig.
Next the stars will come down with their mighty swords
And hold a dance for all the ladies and lords.
But when the morning comes, the sun will rise,
And gently open your sleepy eyes.
The stars will go back to their sky bound homes
And take away the plates and empty pig's bones.
The moon man will leave along with the stars,
And release you from the mighty trees' arms.
The moon dancers will take you back to your room,
Tuck you in and leave you in a blanketed tomb.
And as you wake and the day begins anew,
And all the grass blades are covered in dew.
You'll remember the dancers who loved to play,
And know that they are just a dream away.
